Safe

Coast Range is a "BC SAFE CERTIFIED COMPANY"since July 2007.
Thank You to all those that continue to make Coast Range a SAFE COMPANY.

Founded in British Columbia in 1973, Coast Range Contracting is one of the first tree-planting companies to begin operations in Canada.  On October 15, 2005, Garth Hadley and David Newton brought it back home to BC. Coast Range Contracting is once again a BC-owned and operated company: a small company, with a renewed focus on providing the best possible services to both our workers and our clients.

At Coast Range, we continually strive to be the best in the business. We take great pride in ensuring the highest standards and safest work environment for our crews. We have, and will continue to turn down work that compromises the integrity of our workforce. We want to ensure that we have only the best working conditions for our crews. We are focused on securing solid projects for our key people.  Soon you will be able to review our 2010 work on our Work Opportunities Page.  You will find a list of all our current projects, and links to apply for open positions.

If you are an experienced planter looking to work this spring season, please go to our Applications Page and apply online. Once you have submitted your online application we will get back to you to discuss the possibility of a hiring interview. Please note: Coast Range will only accept applications from Experienced Planters with References.

Everyone who is hired for the 2010 season must complete an online application--yes, returning planters too.

Our Pre-Season Page is password-protected, and is for the use of hired Coast Range employees only. Once you have applied online and returned your completed Employee Package to our Office, you will be issued a password to view important information on the Pre-Season Page regarding the projects you will be working on (project details, camp meeting places and times, and virtually everything you need to know for a smooth start-up). Pre-Season page will be available in March 2010.

Safe

We are committed to providing our workers with up-to-date training and procedures to minimize the risks. Our training and policies are continually updated to meet the changing demands of the industry. We take pride in having one of the most thorough Health & Safety Programs in the industry.

We Need Your Pictures!

We welcome you to browse our Pictures Page. We strongly encourage all Coast Range planters to submit their favourite pictures to us. We promise to post them as soon as we can.
